and welcome to the website of Foundation VONK Projects (Stichting VONK Projecten),
VONK (for short) is a Netherlands based NGO and is active since 1999 for the betterment of Nepalese orphans. This website aims to give you a clear picture of our projects.
Many of our projects originate in Bal Mandir – Kathmandu, which is the largest orphanage in Nepal run by NCO (Nepal Childrens Organisation). We have a large photo library covering almost 10 years of the children of Bal Mandir. Our digital photo library is too large to publish on our website, but you can find the thumbnails listed in chronological order here. Any full size photo can be requested and will be emailed free of charge (but a donation will be much appreciated).
