Nepal Girls Care Center (NGCC) is a non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to helping orphaned teenage girls to be in the company to settle after leaving the protective environment of Bal Mandir Orphanage, which is operated by Nepal Children's Organization (NCO).

The Bajura Foundation:

The Bajura district in western Nepal is not only remote and inhospitable, it is also difficult to reach. Is it perhaps for this reason that the Nepalese government has forgotten the district? The fact is that because of its location there is little support from Kathmandu.

The founder of NGCC and our co-donor:

The whole idea for this project began when Anna-Lena Henriksson and her daughter Gauri visited Nepal in 1993. Gauri who was adopted from the orphanage BalMandir felt that something had to be done for the girls on BalMandir.

NCO / Bal Mandir:

NCO focuses on child care and education for orphans, abandoned or conflict-affected children, rehabilitation of dependent children of prisoners, promotion of the rights of children, national and international adoption of children, educational support to children from families with a low income, and strengthening the capacity of its nationwide network.
